Tarbiyyah

Recently I received a book from a dear friend of mine, Huda Mustaffar, the book was called ‘Cinta di Rumah Hasan Al Banna’ by Muhammad Lili Nur Aulia. Both of us, Huda and myself believe in love after marriage, call me old school but I think there’s a relevant point to it. After marriage, you can do almost anything with your mate, and it is considered halal by Syariah and blessed by Allah Ya Majid. I would prefer it that way, won’t you?

Cinta di Rumah Hasan Al Banna

In this book, it shares the life and stories of one of our great Ikhwan Muslimin dakwah leaders of the modern age, Imam Hasan Al Banna, but it is not about his work in spreading Islam but his methods of tarbiyyah (teaching) his children and family.

I was touched by the love he had for his family, even with his busy schedule of traveling across the land because of his work. His relationship with his wife was something other than special; more than love, trust and loyalty. I quote the book on what Imam Hasan said to his wife,

“Wahai Ummu Wafa, istana kita menanti di syurga, Allah tidak akan mensia-siakan kita di dunia” - Imam Hasan Al Banna

Ummu means mother and Wafa is the name of their first born daugther. They treat each other with such respect that kings and queens would be jealous of.

This book really change my perspective about childcare, I believe that Imam Hasan Al Banna was one who follow the way of life that of Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. and as we have little knowledge of the details of how Rasulullah s.a.w. tarbiyyah his family, I concluded that Imam Hasan Al Banna was the closest example that we will ever get to knowing.

All that is good comes from Allah and would like to apologize for any unkind remarks and mistakes that I may have did.

Here is a link to ‘Cinta di Rumah Hasan Al Banna’ hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
